Bridge Building: Earthlands Collective and Sirius Community...

On Friday, January 8th, 2016 four of us from Sirius Community in Shutesbury, MA traveled over to the Earthlands Collective in Petersham, MA to help them gather and stack firewood for the Lodge. On Saturday, eight people from Earthlands came to Sirius, to help us scrub walls in the East Wing of the Community Center, repair broken items in the wood shop, and help with firewood. Global Healing Meditation at 12:30 pm in the Longhouse was followed by a sharing of ideas over lunch in the Community Center Dining Room, creating synthesis...

Then, on Sunday people from both Sirius and Earthlands met at the Petersham collective to brainstorm ideas for building a cooperative bridge of labor and resource exchange between these two intentional communities with the potential for expansion of this concept to include other communities in the United States and eventually spread around the world ~ JDHWB-R
