IN-Community/ Unity Link n' Sync Begins with a Walk...

Juniper Hill Homestead Walking Tour, April 3rd @ 3:30 pm!
Mission Statement: organic farm, goats, chickens, garden

Community Description:

We are an extended family homestead on 9 acres in Western Massachusetts. Juniper Hill has meadows, forest, flowers, herb, kitchen gardens, goats and chickens, fruit trees, mountain views, good folks into peaceful green living, and conscious communication.

We are nestled in the Pelham Hills of the Pioneer Valley, an internationally recognized hub of progressive universities, colleges, community and agricultural organizations. We are within walking distance of Sirius Eco-Village and live in a wonderful hillside of neighborhoods called Hearthstone Village.

We are farmer/artists, 1 dog, 2 cats and 4-7 exploring members, interested in sustainable living, taking care of our beloved dairy goats and flock of chickens, edible and medicinal landscaping, creating a botanical sanctuary, land-based businesses, edible mushroom production, Permaculture, and appropriate technology systems. (Beekeeping as of Spring, 2014)

We are looking for people who are good communicators, emotionally and financially balanced, and free from major addictions like alcohol, etc. We particularly want Carpenters, Farmers, and Permaculture enthusiasts. We’re building an addition to the barn to make herbal teas, tinctures and house an art studio.

Our main directions on the farm include humane livestock keeping, animal husbandry, keeping chickens and selling organic eggs, making cheese, keifer, rustic arbors and sculptures, yogurt and homesteading in general. We get along best with people who have a deep commitment to personal and spiritual growth and co-creating peace in our communities and the larger world.

Practicing consicous communication, loving kindness, empathy, and humor with rewarding hard work inspires our daily process of living together. We all need our space, too, and there are several options and ways of creating what we need individually.

Send us a detailed description of yourself and what sparked your interest in our farm.
