About the Movie" Kamejin" (87 minutes)
The movie “Kamejin” started as a part of a community development project for the H-street shopping district in the city of Kameoka, Kyoto. Through extensive interviews with the local shop owners, who also played in the movie, the film captures the most attractive qualities of the area, "the people" who make up the tightly-knit community. Filmed by Yuya Morimoto, who grew up in Japan and Wendell, MA. Nominated for Madrid International Film Festival for 2019.
What is Shiatsu?
We thrive when we feel connection in our body and heart, and connection to each other. Shiatsu is one of the great healing methods originated in Japan that balances Qi (life force energy), leading us to a greater health. We are hosting Moshi Moshi Shiatsu club helping fundraiser for Sirius community. Moshi Moshi Shiatsu Club is a group of shiatsu practitioners studying and working together for peace through shiatsu. The chief instructor of the Shiatsu Club, Shunji Morimoto, has been a dedicated full time shiatsu practitioner for over 30 years. He is originally from Tokyo, Japan and currently lives and works in Wendell, MA.
