Paul Leon Masters: Spiritual Bonding with Another...

The deepest of all relationships that one can have with another person is spiritual. The coming together and bonding of two souls far exceeds the merger of minds and bodies. What is exchanged on a spiritual level can form a bond that can be eternal.

In fact, it may be that some people you have met in this lifetime, with whom you have felt a deep spiritual rapport, are souls with whom you spiritually bonded in previous lives. If such bonding can exist from one lifetime to another, it certainly underscores how very powerful a spiritual bond can be. Such spiritual bonds can be experienced between immediate family members, close friends, a spiritual student and teacher, and, most decisively, between a man and woman as lovers or spouses.

If you can form a spiritual bond between your soul and the soul of another, you greatly increase the chance that a personal relationship will last. That does not mean that forming a spiritual bond is an absolute guarantee that two people will live happily ever after. That is also a matter of how thoroughly each soul commits to the relationship, motivated by the love of one person’s soul for the soul of another.

True spiritual bonding with a commitment to the relationship will generally override the problems—both minor and major—that confront couples over time in their relationship. For anyone who is aware of how important spiritual bonding is to a relationship, it becomes a spiritual responsibility to discuss the idea and concept of spiritual bonding with their lover or spouse.

Of course, to be effective, such bonding must be agreed to and participated in by both parties. When real spiritual bonding has taken place between two people, it is as if the Universe or God is blessing the relationship. It is as though the God Presence within each person has become apparent to each individual as One Presence.

In actuality, by meditating daily on God’s Presence, you automatically form some degree of a spiritual bond with another. This is because the more you enter into the Presence of God within yourself—your True Life-Presence—the more you are entering into that very same True Life-Presence in a person with whom you share loving feelings. The God Presence in you both joins your souls together, creating a spiritual bond that is lasting.

There should be extensive communication about meditation, its practice, and the effect that daily meditation can have on increasing the spiritual bond between you and the person you love. The closer each of you comes to God’s Presence within, the closer your souls are—one to another.

Meditating in close physical proximity to each other can also further the bonding between the two of you. This is because there are unseen energy factors of thoughts, feelings and emotions that permeate the space between you. When you meditate in close physical proximity, your auric fields commingle, exchanging vital energies.

One of the most effective ways for couples to meditate together is to meditate back-to-back. Each one is leaning on or in touch with the other’s back, particularly along the spinal column, where key energies—both masculine and feminine—flow. This tends to cause a balancing of energies over a period of time, which could result in further spiritual bonding between the two souls.

Another method is to sit across a small table together, holding hands. Energies are engaged through the left hand holding the other’s right hand, and vice versa. In this way, there is a balancing of male and female energies between the two people, which promotes further spiritual bonding.

As the eyes are the windows of the soul, staring into each other’s eyes and attempting to see the soul energy in the other’s eyes—while holding hands—can further create a spiritual bond. At first, when doing this, either or both parties may begin to laugh as a result of being self-conscious. But, after a short time of doing this practice, each person should feel comfortable enough to truly search out and find the soul’s energies in one another’s eyes.

Above all the things you can give to another is the gift of your real spiritual nature. You give the sensitivity you feel spiritually about life, yourself, and the person you love. Opening your soul to another about what you really think and truly feel can magnify the spiritual bond between you.

Even in the realm of material gifts, try to select gifts that have some spiritual significance or symbolism you both understand and appreciate. Give of your time—especially quality time—when there are only the two of you, without the distractions of children, family, friends, coworkers, and the like. Find time for just the two of you, where you are able to reflect on life and one another.

Every day, in some way, something should be said or implied that conveys an appreciation of the other person. This can be a compliment on anything they have said, done, or, for even more bonding, on who and what they are. Above all, statements should be made as to how much the other person means to you. It doesn’t matter how many times you express your appreciation, even about the same thing. People love to hear loving words—often! Let that person in your life know how much your very soul appreciates them. Above all, let the other person know you appreciate them for what they really are, deep down within.

Common Unity Overland Tour (Dry Run): 1st Leg

On Monday, October 8th, 2018... Dry run of Lamplighter Node for Common Unity Overland Tour left Sirius, for Earthlands.

A painted school bus, brought to us (via Geni Dedam of Infinite Trees Project) is parked in front of Community Center at this Eco-village for over a week, before I joined these Water Protectors who have been camped at Standing Rock, ND and traveling around the country, for a short run to Earthlands in Petersham, MA.

We stopped for lunch at Survival Center in Amherst, then headed into Worcester County toward Petersham.

We arrived at the Earthlands Office, as I found that the Lodge was off-limits. It's site was sold and is presently a private residence.

We took a brief walking tour of Earthlands before Geni and I went in the lead car back to Sirius and bus then traveled to Indiana...

Lamplighter Node, when complete, has "Gypsy Vardo" style house truck leading one or more converted school buses or cars, or both, in a caravan that starts at Sirius Community, stops at Earthlands, then continues to Wolfeboro, NH... and then Zero Foundation in Maine, prior to plotting a further trajectory for the Tour

AI (Artificial Improvidence): The Jay Effect...

Jay was a grey & white cat who lived at the Lighthouse next door to "My" Space. He looked a lot like Bilbo Baggins, a cat that I had in Nantucket in 1974. He was 1 of 2 siblings from the cat lady on Pine St. which my 1st wife & I got, after Inky had disappeared chasing june bugs on 5/15. Frodo wasted away as a kitten, yet Bilbo was fine. When Improvidence blindsided me after Inky was gone, like Job in days of old, I lost it all... my wife, my business, our cottage on the waterfront... all gone. All I had was my dirt-floor.sign shop, on Center Street, where I moved with Bilbo who got fleas soon thereafter. I set off a bomb (to rid my cat of fleas, only to have them jump to other end of the cellar. The tenant at that end would not speak to me for over a year! So, I took Bilbo up to Mill Hill & released him to go into the wild... I was offered Jay to house, for a month in My Space, while this cat's owner was on a retreat... but Jay vanished before I had an opportunity to take him. Karma? What goes around, comes around? Methinks it is. This event triggered what I have come to recognize as "Artificial Improvidence."

My "dark night of the Soul" began in 1974 with a business collapse, throwing me in an emotional wasteland, which I now call the Improvidence Zone. So, until meeting my 2nd wife in 1985... I was alone & lost.

Artificial Improvidence lasted 2 weeks or so... It passed when I was able to access funds supplemental to Social Security & Pension, I draw presently in retirement.

The Sign of Inky: 47 Years After I Set Foot on Nantucket Island!

~ A Black Cat, similar to the one I saw today in Shutesbury, Massachusetts ~
This morning (October 5th, 2018) I saw a black cat outside my window, in front of "My Space" at Sirius Community. On the 15th of May in 1974, my "Halloween cat" Inky vanished chasing june bugs, 4 years to the day Joseph Blackshear Bryan died without my knowing the man listed upon my birth certificate as my father. Plague condition precipitated personal business collapse, in the year when 10cc released "The Wall Street Shuffle" at the outset of recession in 1974. I was known as "The Pen and Ink Artist of Main Street" on the island of Nantucket living on my sign and art commissions until they dried up, so I sought employment as a dishwasher at the Jared Coffin House. I moved over to the maintenance department, learning to work the interior painting trade. After my stint with 2 painting contractors I set up the "Nantucket Painting, Sign, & Art Co." This supported me until I met the mother of my two children, Susan, when I took a job as pressman at the Inquirer & Mirror newspaper. Our 1st child, Mary, was born on Nantucket before we moved off of the island to Gloucester, a/k/a "Fishtown," on the North Shore of Massachusetts... My return to the "Far Away Island," and start of rebuilding my lost art business, came last week when I traveled from Sirius, the Eco-village where I live in Shutesbury, for 4 days with my next door neighbor at the Community, and photographed corner of Main & Federal Streets as subject for my new painting as catalyst for regenerating my lost art business when Inky vanished.

Archetypal Hermit, The Lantern, and Stone Alley in Nantucket...

Entrance to Stone Alley from Union Street

The Archetypal Hermit's original Lantern was first lighted on the sidewalk outside Emmon's Corner at 21 Federal Street and carried on Main Street during the Summer of 1972. This Lantern eventually was lighted at The Steps in Stone Alley by three Brothers in Spirit known as the Lantern Triad: one was the Hermit, another was the Catalyst, and the third was the Phoenix (code names) on July 11, 1979... the day Skylab fell out of the sky into the Pacific Ocean. This Triad lit the Lantern again on August 13 of the same year at the Steps for the last time together, yet a Tesseract was formed on July 2, 1981 at home of the Catalyst, including his natural Brother, and the Phoenix. Triad and Tesseract were both dissolved after that, replaced on March 11, 1985 with another Brother in Spirit as Catalyst and a Sister in Spirit who was present at lighting of the Lantern's initial candle. They lit it at Steps in Stone Alley on that date. Final Illumination of original Lantern was by the Hermit and this Brother in Spirit on October 12, 1985, and the Lantern was "Passed" the next day when the Archetypal Hermit personally dismembered the Lantern, sealed pieces into a black wooden box, and took it to the site where Great Point Light fell into the Atlantic Ocean during a storm on March 30, 1984...

Hobbit to the Unicorn: How Much Farther to... West Bag End?

~ The Corner of South Shore Road and Blueberry Lane, Nantucket ~

From 1982-1984, I owned this Quarter-Acre Corner Lot in "The Badlands" of Nantucket Island, which was to be the site for my permanent home built of wood and covered with red cedar shingles and having a wrap-around porch on three sides. Roofing was to be green architectural shingles and trim painted forest green. Windows were to have Z-back shutters, plus little brass lanterns on the porch posts and illuminating both doors. Dormers on the upstairs roof with an English country cottage look were to complete this image that was inspired by books of J.R.R. Tolkien, in particular: The Hobbit & Lord of the Rings trilogy... ~ JDHWB-R
